TeXworks

For easy management of text documents, we recommend downloading TeXworks. The program is open-source and allows you to view and edit TeX and PDF files.

TeXworks desktop environment for Windows, is compatible with the XP, Vista, Win 7, 8, and 10 series. The program is also available for other popular operating platforms such as: Linux and Mac OS X. To download TeXworks, you will need about 15 MB of free space in your computer's memory.

Features of the editor:

• The ability to view PDF text without the need for additional tools (such as Acrobat), thanks to the Poppler library;
• Synchronization of the pdf file with the original source (for example, for the function of the instant search for the desired text fragment in the PDF version, and vice versa).

Despite its English-language interface, the program is simple and easy to use. The developers made sure that inexperienced users could study the short manual before working with the application.
