Tunatic is a small, free program for music identification. It will help you when you need to find out the name and artist of a song playing, for example, on the radio, or recognize a nameless track that is lying around on your hard drive or player.
Tunatic requires a microphone. To recognize a track, simply bring the sound source to the microphone and let the program "listen" to the track. It will then give you the song title and the artist and a link to a website where you can download the track from iTunes, a ringtone for your mobile device or find the track on Google.
Tunatic has an extremely compact interface, requires absolutely no settings, and is easy to use.
