Tuxpaint A simple drawing program for young children. It is not a usual drawing tool. It is easy and fun to use. The sound effects and the animation nature of the program help the user to understand what is happening on the screen and try to amuse him.
Tux Paint is extensible. You can draw with brushes or make shaped impressions with stamps. For example, the teacher can slap some animal figures and ask the children to draw the environment in which they live. Each figure has a tune and text cues that are played and displayed when the child selects a shape.
There is no difficulty in handling the computer. The current image is saved when the program finishes and appears when it is restarted. Saving images does not require entering filenames or using the keyboard. Opening an image is done by selecting it from a collection of thumbnails.
