A program for 32-bit versions of Windows NT which accesses the NT Object Manager namespace and outputs data about it using the native Windows NT API (provided through the NTDLL.DLL library). At first sight Winobj program is similar to the program of the same name from the Microsoft SDK, at the same time you should keep in mind that the latter has some serious bugs, which do not always allow to output the exact data (in particular, the handles and references counting mechanisms are completely broken). In addition, our variant of WinObj supports a wider set of object types. Finally, in version 2.0 of our WinObj program improved the user interface, provides means to open device objects, as well as view and change the security data of objects using NT's own security editors.
