WizTree is an easy-to-use program that helps you find files that take up a lot of hard disk space. With it you can quickly get an overview of disk space distribution between files and folders, and manage free disk space.
The interface of the program is easy to understand. To get started, select the desired hard drive from the drop-down list and click "Scan". After scanning the disk, the program will show you the disk's directory tree with a visual size indication, as well as the top 1000 of the "heaviest" files on the disk. The tree and the top are displayed in separate tabs.
In addition to size WizTree also shows other information about files and folders, including date and time of last modification and attributes. In addition, the list can be sorted by any of these properties. The program shows file/folder sizes in selected units (KB, MB and GB) as well as percentage of total space.
The program not only allows you to know the size of the files. It also allows you to delete files completely or to Recycle Bin, copy the path to the selected file or folder, open the command line. You can also open several copies of the program in parallel, directing them to different drives.
