World of Warcraft

World of Warcraft is an online game where people from all over the world explore a mysterious world filled with magic and incredible adventures. It is a world where everyone can become a hero.

Most online games support the participation of two to several dozen users simultaneously in the game world. But the possibilities of global online games are much wider: in such projects thousands of players are constantly interacting with each other. That is why such games are called global games.

Unlike usual games MMORPG doesn't have the off-line singleplayer mode. During the game you must be connected to the internet. It doesn't mean you are not able to play by yourself: World of Warcraft gives you a lot of options to play alone. But there are other adventurers in the virtual world, and if you want to share the fun of the game with them, you need an Internet connection. The main part of the game is focused on the groups of players, who together explore dangerous dungeons and defeat powerful monsters, helping each other.

In World of Warcraft, each character has a unique set of skills and abilities that define their role. For example, mages are strong spellcasters who use supernatural powers to attack enemies from a distance, but they are extremely vulnerable in close combat. These characteristics define the mage's strategy: keep at a distance, deal maximum damage, and hope to kill monsters before they get to him.

The term "role-playing" also means that you play the role of a character living in a fantasy world. How deeply you become related to the character is up to you: some people come up with habits, mannerisms, and entire biographies for their in-game doppelgangers. Immersing yourself in a virtual world can be a lot of fun, but the choice is yours - perhaps this style of play just doesn't suit you. This kind of roleplaying is voluntary, but we provide separate roleplaying worlds for those who prefer to play with a fully immersive world.
