Write!

Write! is a complete text editor with a stylish interface. It is simple and quite easy to use. It has all the tools you need to work with text and a number of additional features that make working with text more convenient and faster.

Write! has all the usual tools and features for working with text. It lets you change style, font, text color, etc. But unlike other text editors, all these tools are concentrated in the right-click menu. Thanks to this approach, you can quickly and easily change the parameters of the selected text. In addition to text formatting, this menu also lets you "Google" the selected word, translate it into another language, look up its definition in Wikipedia or the dictionary, and check the text for errors (Russian is supported).

Besides the standard text formatting methods, Write! offers the use of special characters for this purpose. With these symbols you can change the text style, create lists and headings, etc. A complete list of special characters can be found in the Help menu, under Markup Helper.

As for document formats, Write! uses its own format with the extension .wtt. But it also allows you to export text in such formats as pdf, odt, txt, and mdown.

The Write! interface is quite simple, there are no panels with lots of buttons and other elements which can be distracting. However, the editor interface does support tabs. This means that you can open several documents in one editor window and switch between them.

Overall, Write! is a pretty simple and easy to use text editor. It is great for working with small articles or posts, notes, etc.
