Skype for Business for Android

Skype for Business (formerly Lync 2013) provides the full capabilities of Lync and Skype, including wireless voice and video, presence details, instant messaging, conferencing, and calling features from a single, easy-to-use interface.

Key features:

• View real-time employee availability and choose the most convenient way to communicate: text conversation, email, voice or video call;
• Connect to Lync meetings with just one touch, without entering long numeric secret codes or conference numbers;
• Call forwarding and simultaneous calls to your corporate voice number (Lync ID), so you can always take the call;
• Skype for Business for Android supports TLS and protects your internal or perimeter network without requiring a VPN. This way, you get a more secure communication environment, regardless of your location or the network you use.

You need a Lync or Skype for Business account to use this application. Also, some features may require you to upgrade to Lync Server, or may be available to a limited number of users. If you do not know the status of your account, contact your organization's IT department.

IMPORTANT: This program requires a connection to a licensed copy of Microsoft Lync Server, Skype for Business, or Lync Online in Office 365 and will only work if so.
