GPD Win Max - a portable Windows console

A Windows-based gaming console? Portable and with a keyboard? Such devices are not often found on the market. However, they do exist and they have fans. Why else would GPD create Win Max?

Leaks suggest that GPD is preparing something special. Win Max resembles a hybrid of an ultrabook and a gamepad. The gadget is already close to release. It is expected to debut during 2020.

How the product looks - demonstrate screenshots. The official images have been published online. How are things with the characteristics? Not bad (for a device of this format).

GPD did not skimp on the Intel Core i5-1035G7 processor. This is a new 4-core chip with a frequency of up to 3.7 GHz. The solution is made on 10 nm technology. Complementing the configuration is integrated graphics Iris Plus G7.

How powerful is the mentioned gas pedal? It is enough to run games at a resolution of 1280 by 800 pixels. Said corresponds to the Win Max HD screen. The diagonal of the display will be 8 or 9 inches.

A controller is used for easy control. You can hope for cursors and analog sticks. There is also a touch panel. You won't have to complain about the inconvenience.

In addition, an M.2 2280 drive, a microSD slot and an Ethernet port are reported. Among other things, Win Max offers USB-C, Thunderbolt 3, HDMI and two USB-A interfaces.
