Not long ago, Huawei released several models of frameless smartphones with a notch at the top of the screen, like the iPhone X. Many fans of the company's devices were not to their liking, but after another innovation of the Chinese giant, they would probably be happy to return the "monobrow".According to data published by the Korean publication ETNews, Huawei specialists found a new way to get rid of the notch at the top of the screens of frameless smartphones. The company decided not to use retractable camera modules like the Vivo NEX and OPPO Find X devices, at least for now. Instead, the sensors and speaker of the new devices from Huawei will be placed on the top edge, and the front camera will be located right in the middle of the screen, at the top of it. This, albeit not the most elegant solution, will achieve a higher ratio of screen area to front panel smartphone, in comparison with the latest flagships of the company - devices Huawei P20 and P20 Pro. The company's first gadget with a front camera completely surrounded by the screen is expected to see the light of day in the fourth quarter of 2018.
