Leica M10 Monochrom - the camera for black and white photography fans

Leica needs no introduction. What does the famous manufacturer want to please this time? It is reported about the announcement of an extraordinary camera M10 Monochrom.

The novelty is unusual. It is designed to capture black and white photography. The M10 Monochrom takes this genre to an incredible level. The detail is exceptional.

The secret is the special B/W CMOS sensor. The latter is specially designed with 40 million pixels. There are no color filters, just for the sake of enhancing monochrome images.

The M10 Monochrom allows you to take pictures with a resolution of 7,864 by 5,200 pixels. As for light sensitivity, you can hope for ISO 160-100000. Each unit is assembled by hand.

The top and bottom covers are machined from a single piece of alloy (brass). The casing is highly durable. Permitted for use in harsh environments.

The M10 Monochrom offers a viewfinder and a 3-inch screen. You do not have to worry about scratches on the display. The panel is protected by tempered glass Gorilla Glass.

Separately, it is worth noting the presence of Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n adapter. No problems with wireless connectivity. SD/SDXC memory cards up to 2TB can be used for storage.

Completing the package is the Leica M mount. The M10 Monochrom weighs about 660g (including battery). The price is astronomical - 8300 American dollars. Not everyone can afford it.
