According to the press service of Roskomnadzor, on April 6 this year, the agency filed a lawsuit to restrict access to information resources Telegram Messenger Limited Liability Partnership in Tagansky district court of Moscow. The suit was filed in connection with the refusal of representatives of the messenger to comply with the requirements of Russian legislation and issue the keys to the FSB to decrypt user correspondence. This, in turn, is a failure of Telegram's team to fulfill their duties as organizers of information distribution. Recall that on March 20 this year, the Supreme Court of Russia rejected Telegram's claim and recognized the order of the FSB to issue encryption keys as valid. Representatives of the messenger were sent a notice of the need to comply with the requirements of Russian legislation within 15 days of receipt. The deadline passed on April 4, and now the messenger is again at risk of being blocked in our country. The creator of the messenger, Pavel Durov, did not change his position on this issue. Earlier, in his Twitter-account, he said that Telegram will continue to defend freedom and privacy and will not give out users' private data.
