Huawei Mate 20 Pro smartphones have the most efficient wired charging technology to date. The gadget uses SuperCharge technology at 40W. Also in the top is the Oppo Find X smartphone with SuperVOOC charging, 50W.
Today, March 26, the world-famous company Xiaomi will unveil its development. It is assumed that the invention will be better than its previous competitors.
The new product will be called Super Charge Turbo. Its technical indicators are very powerful.
Details about Super Charge Turbo are not known yet. However, what is clear at the moment is that the charger's power will be 100W. As shown in the teaser video, smartphones that will support such technology, with a battery capacity of 4000 mAh, will be charged from 0 to 50% in seven minutes. The remaining 50% will charge in 10 minutes. In total, the time to charge a fully discharged smartphone is about 17 minutes.
At the moment, it is not clear which Xiaomi smartphone model will be the first to get Super Charge Turbo technology. Of the new gadgets coming out this year, it is most likely the Mi Mix 4.
With all that said, it is possible that the company will decide to wait until the announcement of the Mi 10. It is expected in late winter or spring 2020.
It's worth noting that the Xiaomi Mi 9, released in February 2019, got support for 27-watt Quick Charge 4+ wired charging.
