Google will soon remove the Live Search feature

27 July 2017
Instant Search was launched in 2010 and was designed to speed up the delivery of the information you need. By typing their query into the search bar, users immediately received options that matched the information they entered. This approach increased search speed by eliminating the need to type an entire query. But nowadays, more than half of all searches are done from mobile devices. And since Live Search was designed for computer users, it is of little use on a smartphone, as the user interacts with the device in a different way. That is why the representative of the company said that soon Google intends to abandon the Live Search in favor of a better method that will be optimized for different types of devices. No specific information about the new method was reported.
