Binkd is a program designed to transmit mail and files (mailer) on the international amateur Fidonet network. Unlike classic FTN-mailers, binkd works over a specially designed binkp protocol, using TCP/IP as the transport. Thus, binkd allows you to transmit feed mail both over the Internet and over the local network.
