How does it work? Very simple! Regular cameras allow you to show video up to 640x480 pixels, but video conferencing uses a lower resolution, about 320x200. This difference allows you to change the position of the sub-picture view inside the original, large picture. Using the zoom capabilities we can increase and decrease the image (ZOOM), in which the quality is lost only after a twofold increase in the image. Considering that video transmission uses compression methods that degrade image quality, this ZOOM looks quite acceptable.
