Additional information: There are compatibility issues with Windows XP. "CCleaner Free Portable from v5.27.5976 etc. on Windows XP (32-bit) DOES NOT WORK! On February 24, 2017, wrote to their Support about this - they replied that they were aware of it and attributed it to a problem on XP systems that have AMD processors. They added that the issue will be solved with the release of CCler v5.28, but the locomotive is still there: both v5.28 and v5.29 are immediately removed from the "Task Manager" when running them on XP. Last working version on XP is "CCleaner Free v5.26.5937 Portable", but in my opinion the last of 4 versions is "CCleaner Free v4.19.4867 Portable". IMHO functions and speed are the same (even if you expand winapp2.ini), but the design is not faded like on 5, and clear and compact. If you have XP - compare yourself startup speed. P.S. talk about the "Piggyback", if you have Win10 - definitely the latest "CC Portable".
