Cutting 3

Cutting 3 is a program for optimizing the cutting of rectangular sheets into rectangular parts and can be used in woodworking, furniture production, metal cutting, production of insulating glass, cutting glass, etc.

The program is based on a unique, high-speed algorithm, which allows you to quickly perform cutting with minimal waste. When developing the algorithmic part of the program the principle of waste minimization was chosen as the basic criterion, and when developing the interface the main criteria were simplicity and ease of use. The new program has made a lot of changes, additions and innovations which concern both functional and interface parts of the program in comparison with the previous programs.

Cutting 3 offers:

• setting an arbitrary number of sheets and parts for cutting;
• setting simultaneously different textures of material for cutting;
• setting different modes of program operation;
• maintaining a warehouse of material and residues;
• moving parts from one cutting sheet to another;
• marking residues;
• marking edges;
• visualizing material textures;
• importing parts from AutoCad and other sources;
• exporting specifications and cutting results to other programs;
• moving cutting sheets;
• saving and restoring cutting results;
• calculation of the total areas of decalculation of the total areas of the depts;
• saving the defined sheets and parts as specifications, and much more.

The program works in Windows 98 / ME / 2000 / NT / XP operating systems.
