DBFLoader

DBFLoader The utility is intended for loading data represented as DBF files into an Oracle database. Files in other formats must be converted to DBF before uploading (e.g. using EXCEL). Instructions on how to do it are given in the appendix. This utility is convenient for interactive data loading. Oracle's Sql*Loader utility requires a control file containing a description of the fields' format to load. Writing this file requires knowledge of the format and is always time consuming. DBFLoader eliminates the need to write a control file as all necessary information is already contained in the header of the DBF file. The DBFLoader loading speed is optimized and comparable to the Sql*Loader loading speed.
