Dead Space

Dead Space is a game in which you find yourself in the shoes of Isaac Clarke, an ordinary engineer trapped on the spaceship Ishimura, which is swarming with hostile creatures.

Short Overview

In this game you will not have to control a trained soldier, as in most such games, but a simple engineer. According to the plot, your character finds himself on a spaceship mining ore, whose team stumbled upon a strange artifact on a distant planet, after which they stopped communicating. Isaac Clarke was sent to the ship to fix a probable malfunction, but ended up in the slaughterhouse. The ship's crew is killed and the dead have risen in the form of Necromorphs, zombie and alien hybrids. It's up to you to help him survive and uncover the terrible mystery of the Ishimura ship.

One more difference from most shooters is a non-standard way of fighting against enemies. The thing is that the usual headshots will have no effect against necromorphs. So, you will have to use improvised weapons in the form of tools, that are at your character's hand, to cut off the limbs of your enemies and, in the end, to finish them off.

The game is set in a zero-gravity environment. Among other things this means that you will have to wait for the attack from any side. And since the action in Dead Space doesn't stop for a minute - the game will keep you in suspense all the time.
