Decoder is a simple utility for batch transcoding files from DOS to Windows encoding and vice versa. Simply select files in one of the above encodings in Windows Explorer or any Windows folder, press Ctrl+C, and run the program with the required parameters.
When recoding, the utility creates a copy of the file in the opposite encoding rather than recoding the file itself. The decoder can save the recoded files to the folder with the original files (in this case a tilde (~) is added to the name) or create a new folder in the folder with the original files and save the results to it (in this case file names remain the same, only the encoding is changed). After successful recoding a corresponding message is displayed.
