Double Commander Portable

Double Commander Portable is a file manager with two panels. The aim of this project is to create a file manager similar in functionality to Total Commander and compatible with its plugins.

Program Features

• Unicode support;
• All operations are performed in the background mode;
• Group renaming tool;
• Support for tabs;
• Customizable columns;
• Built-in text editor (F4) with syntax highlighting;
• Built-in file viewer (F3) for viewing files in hex, binary, or text format;
• Working with archives in the same way as with subdirectories. You can easily copy files to and from an archive. The following archive types are supported: ZIP, TAR GZ, TGZ, LZMA as well as BZ2, RPM, CPIO, DEB, RAR;
• Advanced file search, including text search in any files;
• Customizable toolbar with buttons to launch external programs or internal menu commands;
• Supports WCX, WDX, and WLX plugins from Total Commander;
• File operations logging.
