DropPoint is a free, open-source utility that makes it easy to move files and folders on your computer.

Add-on for drag&drop

Dragging and dropping files is quite handy, which is why almost Windows users use it every day. However, if you need to move several files from different locations at once, it can cause some inconvenience. This utility solves that little problem.

DropPoint creates a special area where you can drop as many files and folders as you want, even if they are in different places on your hard drive, or on different drives. When everything you need is piled up, all you have to do is drag and drop them from the area to the folder you want. This way you don't have to open all the folders in turn and drag and drop everything one by one.

While the utility is not needed, it sits in the system tray. To bring up the drag-and-drop area, click on the tray icon or press the "Shift + Caps Lock" combination.
