Excel Reader is a useful program that you can use to open and view an Excel document even if you do not have Microsoft Office installed on your computer. This program works independently of it and only allows you to view spreadsheets.
The program is completely free and supports spreadsheets in xls and xlsx format. It can also open rtf and txt files.
Since the main purpose of Excel Reader is to view documents, it does not have any editing functions. But it does have printing, emailing, and text search functions. It also allows you to zoom in on a spreadsheet for a more comfortable viewing experience and switch display modes.
If you have more than one book included in your Excel document, the program displays them at the bottom of the window and allows you to switch between them in the usual way.
