Description

ExplorerGenie is a small but very useful extension to the Windows Explorer context menu. It adds new commands for quickly copying the path to a file/folder, opening different tools (command line, Power Shell) and counting the hash of the selected file in different formats.

The program is distributed free of charge with open source code. Supports UNICODE characters in file and folder names. Works in Windows 7 - 10.

ExplorerGenie key features

Copying path to file/folder. The program offers several copying methods (plain text, clickable link, HTML link);
Quick opening of tools. Through the menu you can open the command line or Power Shell from the current folder (optionally with Administrator rights);
Hash calculation of the selected file. Useful for checking the integrity/authenticity of a file. Calculates hash as MD5, SHA-1, SHA-256, SHA-384, SHA-256 or RIPEMD-160.
