FileThin NTFS

The program allows you to save disk space by making full use of the transparent file compression feature on NTFS volumes (works in Windows 2000 and later). The program has many options: lists of files to compress/exclude files by type, exclusion folders, automatically determines the minimum file size and allows you to choose the maximum file size to compress, allows you to configure compression of encrypted files. The program has both manual mode and the ability to compress files when they are created, copied or modified (as well as to retry if it failed earlier), being a smart substitute for the standard Windows ability to compress new files on all NTFS drives, allowing you to avoid unwanted waste of resources compressing archives, music, videos, data files and other non-compressible files.
