FocusWriter

FocusWriter is a free text editor with a simple interface. The program is not suitable for editing complex documents, but is designed for creative work and writing essays and books. Colorful design, minimalistic interface, functions of timer and highlighting of separate text fragments - FocusWriter creates all conditions for full immersion into creative work.

The FocusWriter editor is designed for Windows computers and laptops. The program supports the latest versions of the system - 7, 8, 8.1 and 10. The editor's interface is available in English and Russian.

Description of FocusWriter

FocusWriter is focused on creative work, so its interface differs from standard text editors. Its main advantages include:

• Simple interface. The main place in FocusWriter is occupied by the text window - the toolbar appears as needed. This allows you to fully concentrate on the text.
• Colorful design. The user chooses the style, size and color of the font. On the background, you can set any image that matches the theme of your text, as well as bringing you inspiration. For old school fans, the developers have added a function to simulate the sounds of a typewriter, which will add a creative atmosphere.
• Set timer and plan feature. By setting a timer, you can clearly limit the time of your work, as well as control the amount of time spent on writing one section at a time. Thanks to the plan feature, you can clearly specify how much text you need to write each day. FocusWriter provides work statistics and discreetly praises the user for meeting the plan.
• Focus feature. FocusWriter highlights a fragment of text that the user is editing. It makes it easier to find the necessary fragment when paging through large text. You can highlight one line or the whole paragraph.
• Portable mode. You can move the editor to a flash drive and continue working on the text on another device. Portable mode allows you to use multiple devices, without the need to constantly synchronize the results of your work - the text file will be stored on the flash drive.
