FontLab Studio A comprehensive program for professional work with fonts, designed for designers and printers. It supports the most basic and common font formats, namely Type 1, TrueType, Multiple Master and OpenType.
The interface of the program can not be called beautiful, however, it is intuitive. It allows you to open fonts in a selected folder, system fonts, and it can also scan your whole computer and find all the fonts you have on it.
With FontLab Studio you can edit the name, Unicode character, class and type of each individual glyph. In addition, you can replace, rotate, resize, mirror glyphs, adjust metrics and apply effects to fonts (bold, shadow, gradient, 3D rotation).
You can add notes to glyphs, remove them from a set, and use advanced drawing tools to edit glyphs. Using these tools, you can correct joints, adjust interpolation, convert glyphs (such as curves to PostScript), and optimize and align glyphs.
FontLab Studio allows you to import and export backgrounds, bitmap fonts, EPS, Mac font files. Current font work can be saved as a project for later use.
Hotkeys are assigned for most of the functions. Overall, the program is easy to use and offers a professional set of tools for working with fonts and a large number of settings.
