GoldenDict

GoldenDict is an open-source free shell for electronic dictionaries which supports many ABBYY Lingvo, StarDict, Babylon, Dictd dictionary formats. GoldenDict can also directly access the content of MediaWiki-based websites (such as Wikipedia, Wiktionary and others).

Features

• Output formatted articles with links and pictures using the WebKit engine.
• Morphology system based on free spell checker Hunspell is used to search for words with errors.
• Indexing directories with sound files to form dictionaries with word pronunciation.
• When searching for translation spaces, punctuation marks, diacritical marks and case of characters in a search phrase do not play a role.
• When you highlight text, a translation pop-up window appears.
