Heroes of the Storm is a MOBA game, a kind of crossover between other Blizzard game universes. The game is distributed on a free-to-play scheme, there are microtransactions.
The gameplay is classic for games of this genre: two teams of 5 characters each. The task is to destroy the enemy citadel, of which there are 4 types in the game. There are different game modes, including games against the AI and ranked matches online, a total of 8 pieces. There are differences from other MOBA games: experience for the battles receive not only the hero, but the entire team. As the level increases, the team acquires new skills and abilities. Speaking of heroes - there are different classes (tank, healer, melee and ranged fighters, etc.). Each hero has his own development tree with unique skills. All heroes "came" from other games - Warcraft, StarCraft, Diablo and Overwatch. The game also regularly hosts various events and distributes daily tasks, for which you get gold.
