Description

Lintalist is a snippet manager that will save a lot of your time if you often have to copy and paste the same text fragments. Using this program you can, for example, quickly insert a pre-prepared response template into an email. Fragments of text, or snippets, can be saved and grouped into categories. This program helps you optimize your workflow. It can store a number of snippets and allows you to assign keyboard shortcuts to them for quick insertion.

Moreover, it allows you to group snippets into categories, separating, for example, work snippets from personal snippets. The first time you start Lintalist, you will see a window with instructions for use and a list of keyboard shortcuts. It might take some time to get used to it, but after that it will be very convenient to use the program. To open the snippet manager, you need to press "CapsLock". It is worth noting that the program blocks the standard function of this key, however, for most users this is not a problem. The manager shows a list of all groups and snippets. You can assign keyboard shortcuts for inserting frequently used text snippets.

Moreover, each snippet can be split into two parts, and you can attach a script to each part. For your convenience, Lintalist can automatically insert different elements into the snippet, such as clipboard contents, counters, variables, date and time, calendar, HTML tags and much more. This program offers quite a number of settings that you can experiment with, customizing it for your needs. Keep in mind that you have to restart the program to apply the settings. Do you often have to copy and paste the same text? Download Lintalist.
