LookDisk is an easy-to-use program that helps you save a lot of time searching for duplicate files and certain words within files. It has a simple interface and is easy to use. The program is able to find identical files on the hard disk or in a specified folder, but, unfortunately, it does not recommend which files to delete and which to keep. It also recommends making a backup copy of the files so that if you delete the wrong files you can restore them.LookDisk can search for duplicates on all disks and partitions on your computer. The search time depends on the size of the disk/partition. The search results will be shown in the main window. They show the file name, the folder in which it lies, size, date last modified and attributes. The program informs about the number of duplicates found, their total size and the number and size of files checked. It can search for duplicates by name, even inside ZIP, ARJ, RAR, LZH and CAB archives.
