Mp3tag program supports ID3v1, ID3v2.3, ID3v2.4, iTunes MP4, WMA, Vorbis Comments and APE tag formats. You can edit and populate the tags of audio files manually. It lets you work with all the standard tag fields (artist, track title, album, year of release, etc.). But Mp3tag can also fill in tags automatically using online services like Amazon, Discogs, Freedb, and others. It searches for the information you need and puts it into tags, including album art.

With Mp3tag you can edit tags in batch mode. The program also supports regular expressions. Using them you can e.g. rename files by tags, fill in tags by filenames, replace individual characters or words in the tags, and much more.

Mp3tag can create and edit playlists. Information about tags can be exported to HTML, RTF and CSV formats for music collection reporting. Unicode is supported.
