NewsPiper is a program that allows you to stay "up to date" on the latest events and news. You can configure the program to retrieve news headlines, articles, etc. from any Web site. The selected headlines will be displayed in a special news bar at the top of the screen. News headlines may alternate at regular intervals or be displayed as a crawl line. Clicking on the current headline takes the user to a Web page with a full description of the news or article the headline refers to. The frequency of scanning Web sites and displaying news headlines, as well as many other program parameters, can be changed by the user as desired.
