nhrt is a program designed to replace text or regular expression in text files by a mask. The search string can be specified as plain text, escape text or regular expression. Replacement is performed in a single file or in a set of files, defined by mask, allowing to process any number of files in one run.
Text replacement in input STDIN stream is supported. NHRPLC supports all encodings for text files - ANSI (1251 for Russian Windows), OEM (866 for Russian Windows), Unicode, UTF-8, and also encodings set by number (for example, 1252 - Western European languages). At the same time, the program allows to process files in different encodings, for example, paste text from OEM encoded file into Unicode encoded file. NHRPLC also has the ability to transcode text files in any direction between ANSI, OEM, Unicode, UTF-8, etc. П
NHRPLC program is used in command files, scripts, programs and other automation solutions - all parameters for starting NHRPLC are set at the command line.
