nimblenote is an unusual app for notes. It is designed for users who appreciate simplicity and efficiency. It allows you to make text notes, interactive to-do/shopping lists, etc.

Simplicity and efficiency

The app lacks the usual buttons and panels. Controls are based solely on the keyboard. The interface consists of three blocks: search line, list of notes, editor field.

To create a new note in nimblenote, enter a new name in the search bar and press "Enter" to move to the editor field. Markdown's simplified markup opens up a wide range of formatting and structuring possibilities.

And to find an existing note, start typing its title and all notes with a matching title will appear in the list below the search bar. Use the "up" and "down" buttons to select the one you want and press "Enter" to move to the editor field.
