Free notes manager. Stores notes as a tree, but unlike other similar programs, creates a folder structure with notes on disk, instead of a single database file. The program also boasts a large number of features, and at the same time supports plugins with which you can add new ones. As for the standard features, OutWiker offers the following: - Storing a tree of notes in separate folders on your hard drive; - Support for plain text notes, HTML and Wiki markup; - HTML syntax highlighting; - Attaching an unlimited number of files to one note; - Using tags to organize notes; - Creating bookmarks in notes; - Formatting notes with CSS styles; - Creating cross-references between notes; - Searching notes by text or tags; - Ability to group tagging; - Spell checking. The functionality of OutWiker can be extended with plug-ins. You can download plug-ins from the developer's website. You can use them to add automatic renaming of notes, drawing charts and graphs on wiki pages, pasting formulas in the TeX format, and many other useful functions. The program can also work in a portable mode, saving its settings in a folder with the executable file.
