How can you evaluate a program if none of the demos work? either it does not save the file, or lightens the image until it cannot be used, or something else. if the program itself works the same way, the evaluation can only be worse! other similar programs in demos work with other bugs. it is impossible to evaluate anyone. give the opportunity to test the program in action for at least a few hours, then maybe you will want to buy it.
