Project64 is one of the most stable Nintendo 64 game console emulators for Windows. It allows you to play almost all games thanks to its well-established compatibility.
It is a completely free and open-source project. It is written in C++ and supports both the Nintendo 64 and its add-on 64DD.
The emulator is able to run games "out of the box" without preconfiguration. But that doesn't mean there aren't any. Dozens of available options will allow you to configure the emulator the way you want. A simple interface will contribute to this.
