Public PC Desktop is a program that turns your personal computer into an Internet kiosk or shared workstation. The program denies access to important computer files and allows you to run only the necessary applications, including the Internet Explorer browser, or set the time intervals of the system. Lock desktop access using username and password, or allow users to access the PC only at certain times or a combination of both. The program is ideal for public libraries, information terminals or for home PCs to restrict access to children. For example, you can deny access to the Internet by blocking applications that run it, or anything else.
