R-Crypto

R-Crypto is an easy-to-use system for protection against unauthorized access to confidential information and personal data stored on a desktop computer, laptop or removable media. R-Crypto provides the ability to protect data by creating encrypted "on the fly" virtual disks. It means that data is encrypted without user participation at the moment when it is saved to disk, and is decrypted when it is read from disk, i.e. data encryption process happens in real-time and is absolutely transparent to user.

All data located on such drives is encrypted at all times. Without presenting the correct passphrase, the data on the virtual encrypted disks cannot be accessed. At that, working with a connected virtual encrypted disk is no different from working with regular "physical" disks on your computer.
