Shadow Defender

Shadow Defender is a program that allows you to protect your operating system, applications and confidential information and keep them running.

The utility creates dynamic copies of files on selected objects, after which all objects will be protected from unwanted or malicious changes. There is also a setting to create exceptions for entire folders and individual files whose changes will take place on the original, as opposed to protected, where changes do not touch the physical contents of the file, but make changes in the shadow copy that only emulate the original file.

The shadow image is a virtual environment where literally every element where changes have been made is redirected and the real environment remains unchanged.

After all the changes and a restart of the computer, the system will be restored to its original state, as it was before the protection was enabled. Before restarting the computer, Shadow Defender prompts the user to restore the system from a "frozen" environment or to leave it in the protected mode as it is currently.
