ReCycle

ReCycle is a digital music loop editor.

The main purpose of ReCycle is to change the tempo of a loop without making any other changes to its sound. To do this, ReCycle decomposes loops into separate "layers"-beats and then begins to change the time interval, while maintaining the beat length. Thus, one loop is played at different speeds, applying an unmodified sound to each separate "layer". During this process, the original tone of the loop is fully preserved, while the velocity/timing section is subjected to numerous changes. Moreover, you can use ReCycle to assign each successive "segment" to its corresponding MIDI note.
