TrustViewer is a software package for remote access and support via the Internet. TrustViewer works on all versions of the Windows 32/64 bit operating system (technical support is provided starting from Windows XP SP3) and allows you to display your desktop, manage a remote computer, exchange files and make video calls via the Internet. Besides a direct connection, operation via a firewall and NAT proxy is also possible. The full version of TrustViewer is free for personal and commercial use with no restrictions in all countries.
TrustViewer can work without installation on your computer, in which case all settings related to the connection via the Internet will be done automatically. To provide access to your computer - you need to start TrustViewer, select "Grant access to this computer" connection mode, select one of three access modes to your computer ("Desktop View only", "Collaboration" or "Full Access"), and provide your partner with a unique nine-digit identifier for each session. Accordingly, to manage a remote computer, after TrustViewer is started, you must select the "Connect to Remote Computer" session mode and enter the session identifier received from your partner. TrustViewer has an available peer-to-peer communication session where either operator can request any mode and access level from the partner at any time. Once TrustViewer has been started, each operator selects the "File exchange, video calls, etc." communication mode and one operator informs the other of its session ID.
One of the distinguishing features of the program is the ability for organizations to independently install a free specialized proxy server on their servers, thus enabling the program to work through the firewall and NAT proxy, as well as to control outgoing and incoming traffic associated with the use of TrustViewer.
