Description

UltraDefrag is a free hard disk defragmenter. It eliminates the problem of file fragmentation, which speeds up your computer. The program uses advanced algorithms that gather detailed information about the files on the disk and pulls their fragments together.

UltraDefrag has the following several advantages

  • Using a simple but effective algorithm;
  • Ensures data integrity;
  • Defragmentation of locked swap and hibernation files;
  • Defragmentation of NTFS metafiles and threads;
  • Flexible filters that allow you to exclude files based on various criteria;
  • Quick defragmentation via an explorer context menu command;
  • Supports working from the command line;
  • Scheduled defragmentation (via Windows Task Scheduler);
  • Automatic shutdown/hibernation of the computer after the task is completed.
  • The program can defragment hard disks with FAT and NTFS file systems.

In addition to defragmentation with UltraDefrag you can also optimize your hard drive. In this case, the program moves all small files and fragments to the end of the hard drive, freeing up space at the beginning, then moves them back, but sorting them according to predefined criteria, so as to speed up access to groups of small files.

Need a good optimizer and defragmenter for your hard drive? Try UltraDefrag. It is an easy to use but effective program.

Neither antivirus nor Windows will let me download this file. They resent it, shouting that it is infected with viruses

The only one who sees something there is Avast, which, despite its popularity, remains terribly paranoid: https://www.virustotal.com/ru/file/0199b8a0dd0fab71c871bf7892bb6ee2e8c488c3313ba4ba8d4ee25c6fd4ab24/analysis/
