UserLib6789 - The UserLib6789 library, created by V.Z. Aladiev, contains over 850 tools created in Maple releases 4-12, with varying degrees of complexity and scope of effective applicability. Naturally, as Maple evolves, some of them overlap or are duplicated by means of new releases. However, it was still decided to keep such tools for the following reasons. Most of them were created to extend the capabilities of the corresponding Maple releases and to eliminate some of their shortcomings, so the techniques and methods used for this are largely release-independent, which allows them to be used for good mastering of the Maple software environment without regard to its release. In addition, experience has shown that a number of them are highly complementary to similar Maple tools, so that they can be used for their intended purpose when programming your own software in the Maple environment. In our opinion, the most valuable thing in the library is even not so much the set itself (even though it is quite useful additional tools), as the programming techniques and methods used by these tools, the effect of which is quite prolonged. It is this circumstance that is most important for practitioners of Maple programming, because the tools presented in the library UserLib6789 can become obsolete, appear in one form or another in standard supplies, or not to fully meet the needs of the user, while the techniques and methods they use are general in nature and can be quite useful and effective in practical programming in Maple.
The library is organized similarly to the main Maple library, allowing you to work with its tools similarly to the built-in Maple tools. Users of UserLib6789 can use its tools not only for their intended purposes, but also, by analyzing the source code (included with the library), can learn a number of useful Maple programming techniques and methods.
