xyBackup

xyBackup is a program for backing up data from various media in automatic mode with the option to configure the backup process.

Depending on the parameter values, the backup process can be started

• Scheduled. In this case, periodicity, start time and parameters are defined in the previously created tasks;
• On the occurrence of one of two events: program launch and media connection to the PC.

The parameters are set by:

• Data source (folders and files);
• Directory in which the backed up folders and files will be stored;
• Backup mode, which means the following:
• Files will be stacked each time in a separate directory;
• Files will be stacked in the same directory each time, with the ability to maintain an exact copy of the folders and files being copied.

Filtering can be applied to the files being copied:

• By extension;
• By file size.
