However, the new way to protect against third-party access is only available to owners of relatively new mobile devices that not only have the necessary fingerprint scanner, but also run Android Marshmallow or newer. As for the iOS version of the app, it received the ability to unlock with Touch ID back in version 3.5.0, in November 2014.
