First notebook with Mini-LED display announced

MSI knows how to attract attention. The famous manufacturer visited the CES 2020 in Las Vegas. Why? To show off a portable PC called the MSI Creator 17.

The device is extraordinary. If the developers are to be believed, the MSI Creator 17 is a unique model. The notebook is equipped with a special backlight - Mini-LED. It is full matrix and uses LEDs smaller than 2mm.

The new technology is superior to older solutions. Mini-LED lights and dims areas of the screen more accurately. A real boon for watching HDR-enabled videos.

The 17-inch display of this product is divided into 240 zones. Each of them can be controlled separately. The MSI Creator 17 also packs 1000 nits of brightness and 100 percent DCI-P3 color gamut.

No need to worry about burnout. Separate note the resolution - 4K. Moreover - the picture is displayed on an external monitor in 8K format. This is done via the USB-C port.

Among other things, MSI Creator 17 is able to read UHS-III SD-cards. It does so at speeds of up to 624 MB/s. Charging comes through the Thunderbolt connector. Its power reaches 27 watts.

Unfortunately, the rest of the specifications are hidden. It is clear only that the device is relatively thin. There is no information about the processor and graphics gas pedal.
