Galaxy Xcover Pro - the new unbreakable smartphone from Samsung

Some devices are presented by Samsung in a big way. Alas, the Galaxy Xcover Pro is not one of them. The company didn't draw any attention to the phone.

The gadget was quietly announced in Finland. The main "chip" of the product is the protected design. It is not afraid of moisture, shocks and exposure to the environment.

The Galaxy Xcover Pro is IP68 certified. Said makes it impervious to water and dust (to a certain extent). In addition, compliance with MIL-STD-810 is declared. The military standard guarantees resistance to vibration and drops.

Special mention should be made of the 6.3-inch screen. The latter can be operated with wet fingers. It also recognizes the touch of gloves.

The display pleases with a resolution of 2400 by 1080 dots. Among other things, the device is long-lasting. It has a 4,050 mAh high-capacity battery. Complementing the configuration is a 15W fast charger.

Galaxy Xcover Pro offers 4 physical keys. One of them is responsible for power, the second - for the volume. Another 2 buttons are programmable. Pressing them activates the function selected by the user.

With the performance - full order. "Stuffing" is not flagship, but powerful. There is 4 GB of RAM and an 8-core Exynos 9611 processor. The chip runs at a clock speed of up to 2.3 GHz.

As for the cameras, there are 3. Rear - dual (25 MP + 8 MP). The front module is single - at 13 MP. About the quality of selfies do not have to worry.

To store photos and files is a flash drive with a capacity of 64 GB. If not enough, there is a slot for microSD up to 512 GB. The OS is Android Pie (with a promised update to Android 10).

The Galaxy Xcover Pro will appear in Finnish stores on January 31. The price is 499 euros. In other countries, sales will start in February.
